Bourbon Barrel aged Imperial Stout

This Kentucky Bourbon barrel aged Imperial stout was aged for 20 months in barrels before being blended to perfection.

Clocking in at a hefty 11.4% abv, there's a rich, sherry like, aroma with sweet Bourbon, oak and vanilla all in the mix. A thick, luxorious mouthfeel and a gentle warming sensation welcomes the first sip, accompanied by a smooth mixture of bitter cacoa, roasted coffee bean, vanilla, oak and dark fruit.

Our barrel program in general, and this beer specifically, take a ton of patience and dedication to achieve our intended result. They're also tremendously satisfying in that there are no shortcuts or workarounds...just charred oak and time.
